Brain Injury Clinical Trial
If you have suffered a traumatic brain injury, are between 18 and 65 years and are experiencing balance problems you may qualify for this research. The Brain Injury Clinical Trial is a randomized, controlled study that is taking place at various medical centers in the United States and Canada. The research is investigating whether using a new medical device—the Portable Neuromodulation Stimulator (PoNS™)—in combination with physical therapy can improve chronic symptoms of traumatic brain injury (TBI).
